Edward Gonzalez has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 15 years. Prior to becoming licensed, he worked in the counseling field in non-profit organizations. His work experience includes working with addicts as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor from 1994-2000. He worked with the homeless population as a Case Manager in the downtown Los Angeles area known as “skid row” from 2000-2006 and began his post-graduate training as an intern in Marriage and Family therapy from 2006-2010. From 2010- present he has worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families, as well as life coaching in relationships, career opportunities, education, and business.
His experience providing counseling, life coaching, and case management has helped him to gain a lot of knowledge in finding brief, solution, positive and motivational based practices to help his clients reach their therapeutic goals in less time than traditional therapist who tend to focus on the dysfunctions of their clients.
Mr. Gonzalez has extensive experience working with life conflict issues, stress, anger management, dysfunctional relationships, family of origin traumas/child hood traumas (growing up in an alcoholic home, being physically, verbally or sexually abused as a child), being the victim of bullying). He has many years of experience working with the following issues: Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, couple/marital/relationship conflicts including infidelity, domestic violence, poor communication, relationship expectations of each other.

Mr. Gonzalez also has a private practice where he specializes in providing the best care and treatment possible to individuals, couples, and families at affordable fees.
On a personal level: Mr. Gonzalez has been married for over 23 years and holds black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
